Totally exhausted. Three days of energy and adrenaline have a way of catching up with you. But it was all well worth it.
If yesterday’s sessions with AL Gore were all about the content, today’s were all about the process. Today we had some education with a few individuals who helped us to become better speakers. The one I enjoyed the most was Andy Goodman. He spent two hours with us teaching us how to become better storytellers. Many interesting and moving stories were told, and it certainly helped to bring his point home.
One great example that he shared was how people need to develop an emotional response to help engage them. So how do you personify wind, for example, if you want to engage them about wind energy?
